Michael B. Karas, a nationally recognized marine and landscape painter, has been painting professionally for over 46 years. Early in his career he found inspiration in the sea, shore and landscape of his native New England. In 1989, Mr. Karas had his first introduction to the South Carolina Low Country and after several years of visits, moved permanently in 2004. Michael B. Karas has had 33 one-man shows in selected galleries throughout North America.
