Christy Kinard is an American artist known for her vibrant and expressive paintings that capture the essence of American life. Born and raised in the Southeastern United States, Kinard’s artistic journey began at a young age, fueled by a passion for creativity and a love of color.

Kinard later attended the Atlanta College of Art, where she further honed her skills as a painter.

A pivotal moment in Kinard’s career came when she sold her first paintings to IBM at the age of 18, marking a significant milestone in her journey as an artist. She also had the opportunity to live and paint in England for four years, where she immersed herself in the international art scene and drew inspiration from renowned museums and galleries such as the Tate Modern and the Saatchi Gallery.

Throughout her career, Kinard has continued to experiment with new techniques and materials, incorporating fabric and paper into her paintings to add depth and texture. Today, she is grateful for the opportunity to pursue her passion for art full-time and is dedicated to creating vibrant and engaging works that celebrate the beauty and diversity of American life.
