As an avid outdoorsman with a love for fishing and a determination to create objects, my interests and passions have merged together since receiving my BFA/Painting from the University of South Carolina in 1990. Memory, metaphor, and the illustration of my experiences in nature serve as points of artistic exploration for my abstract paintings and sculptural work. For painting, I utilize all water soluble media and oil. For sculptural work, I utilize carbon steel, stainless steel and found objects. My work is held in private and corporate collections, the South Carolina State Art Collection, The SC State Museum Collection, and the  Columbia Museum of Art.
